Columbia County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Use the agency that created or holds the record for a definitive answer.
Choose the Record Holder
Start with the office that owns the record. CCSO's official Inmate Inquiry page says the current custody list is no longer available online, so a phone call or records request may be the correct route.
For current detention information, contact the Columbia County Detention Center at 2273 County Camp Road, Appling, GA 30802, 706-541-0754. For the Columbia County Sheriff's Office main or non-emergency line, use 2269 County Camp Road, Appling, GA 30802, 706-541-2800. The CCSO Records Section handles open-records questions at 706-541-1042, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Requests may be made in person or by mail at 2269 County Camp Road, Building G-2, Appling, GA 30802, or at 650A Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, GA 30809. The county's Public Records Center explains the Georgia Open Records Act process and the three-business-day response rule.
- For a booking sheet or intake photograph, read the Columbia County records guide, then direct a focused request to CCSO Records. CCSO has not published a booking-photo flat fee, so ask for a cost estimate.
- For a wanted notice or warrant question, review the official Most Wanted page and use CCSO dispatch at 706-541-2800. Do not approach or confront anyone listed. A person concerned about their own legal situation should contact an attorney or the court.
- For a Grovetown police incident or arrest record, contact Grovetown Police at 306 East Robinson Avenue, Grovetown, GA 30813, 706-863-1212. City records requests go to City Hall, 103 Old Wrightsboro Road, P.O. Box 120, Grovetown, GA 30813, 706-863-4576, using the city open-records form. Ask CCSO for the separate jail booking record.
- For a Harlem police incident or arrest record, call Harlem Police at 706-556-6262. Broader city open-records requests go through administration at 320 North Louisville Street, P.O. Box 99, Harlem, GA 30814, 706-556-3448, using the Harlem open-records page. Adult detention records remain a CCSO request.
- For a court disposition, use the Columbia County Clerk criminal docket or call the Clerk at 706-312-7139. Columbia County Magistrate Court is at 640 Ronald Reagan Drive, Evans, GA 30809, 706-868-3316. Court filings explain what happened after a booking; a charge is not a conviction.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections Find an Offender search. It covers GDC custody or former GDC custody, not every person arrested or held at the county jail.
- For federal or immigration detention, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or the ICE Online Detainee Locator. BOP results do not provide booking photographs, and ICE is not a county mugshot source.
